TraceCode Pro expands upon what makes TraceCode the best platform to learn algorithms on by leveraging cloud compute to supercharge your experience.
What Pro Adds
Pro is currently four capabilities.
Cloud sync. Bring your drafts with you. TraceCode Pro syncs your drafts to the cloud, so you can pick up where you left off on your phone, laptop, or desktop.
Verified runs. Run your solutions in the cloud. Solutions you submit will be judged in the cloud for complete validation.
Semantic Captions. Read your code naturally while you watch it run. Semantic Captions leverage the Semantic Engine to generate plain English explanations for each step of your trace.
Exportable traces. Render any trace in the cloud. Download and share any trace as an MP4 or GIF.
Why We Built It This Way
One of the guiding missions of TraceCode is to make learning more accessible, which has shaped many critical design decisions. We did not want a Pro tier that gates the core learning experience behind a paywall. The parts of TraceCode that help you understand an algorithm are the whole point of the product, and in this regard, we believe TraceCode Free is a much more compelling and generous offering compared to our competitors.
But some things are genuinely better in the cloud. Syncing work feels natural, cloud judging enforces integrity, and exportable traces allow you to share the capabilities of TraceCode. That is the boundary Pro draws: extra capabilities primarily driven by the cloud, not the curriculum or learning.
